Barrel 14K Gold Fill and Sterling Silver Bracelet

This chainmaille weave is called "Barrel" - which is fitting given the little barrel shapes that repeat throughout the bracelet. I've used 14k gold fill rings for each "barrel" amid solid .925 sterling silver jump rings for a lovely contrast. Each ring is opened and closed by hand. All rings are my own precision cut jump rings.

This bracelet measures about 3/8ths of an inch thick.

About Gold Fill: Gold fill is a layer of 14k gold bonded to a brass core. 1/20th of the overall makeup is 14k gold. The layer of gold in gold filled products is much thicker than a gold plating. Gold plate wears off in just a few months, whereas gold filled will last decades.
