Sterling Silk European 4 in 1 Micro Chainmaille Bracelet

This bracelet is like silk made of sterling silver. The silkiness of this sheath of micro chainmaille is unreal. It is unbelievably like fabric, in its drape, its swing, and its feel. The bracelet is 1 3/8 inches wide.

Every ring began its life as 20 gauge sterling silver wire, which I coil by hand and then precision cut with a saw. I tumble the rings for hardness and shine, and then take my pliers, one in each hand, and weave hundreds of rings into this european 4 in 1 chainmaille weave. It gets a second tumble when finished to bring it to a beautiful final shine.

The piece is finished with a tube clasp that has been oxidized and polished.
