Jens Pind Sterling Silver Bracelet Chainmaille Kit

Jens Pind (pronounced yens pint) is a gorgeous rope-like spiral chain. This weave demands a very precisely sized jump ring, too tight and it is impossible to weave, too loose and it falls apart completely.
Included is enough jump rings in your chosen weight to make a bracelet 9 inches in length, along with a sterling silver clasp of your choosing.

Not included is instructions - a google search will give you lots of FREE tutorials, and youtube has lots of chainmaille tutorials as well.

Just added: 18 gauge and 12 gauge:
12 gauge makes a gorgeously HEAVY bracelet - perfect for men and for women who prefer heftier pieces (this is the gauge I prefer!) Refer to the last photo (click to see it bigger) as a size reference for the 12g size.

18 gauge makes a lovely, dainty bracelet that is delicate and sparkling.

12 gauge: 10 mm thick
14 gauge: 8 mm thick
16 gauge: 6.5 mm thick
18 gauge: 5 mm thick

The trickiest part of the jens pind weave is STARTING it. If you would like me to create a starter for you from the rings in your kit, I'd be happy to do so - check the box to include a starter between .5-1 inch (depending on the ring size). This will give you a length of chain that you can add on to rather than having to start it yourself. To keep a starter for next time. make your chain longer than you need to, then remove rings to separate the last inch from your chain, and that can serve as the starter for next time.

Sadly, a starter in one gauge won't work as a starter for a different gauge.
